this is well worth a look!
its a fantastic cascade blue limited edition Griff 500 i've never seen one like it, its been quite heavily customised too.
it looks like it has had a lot of engine work. its also got blended lights front and back and a pair of snazzy aftermarket wheels.
theres a link to a page full of pictures of it from the ad. the colour is amazing!
what do you think of it?

Seller says it is number 32 of the Griff 500 LEs, but I note that at the back he does not have the Griffith 500 SE badge. Hmm....

I beg to disagree - the badge on the back just below the boot is not the Special Edition badge. Mine actually says "Griffith 500 Spacial Edition". I think my point is not that I think he has faked it, but that lots of details that make it an SE, make it different, or contribute to it's becoming a future classic are missing or altered. Clearly the original badge has got lost or been changed. I think he may have devalued his car with the alterations, not enhanced it.
Looks good to me. It's had an awful lot of money spent on it, and it shows. He could have taken the cap off before taking the pics - that was just begging for "Chav" comments!
Non-afficionados would see it and think "wow, cool TVR". Only those in the know would recognise that a Griff shouldn't have Reflex paint, frenched rear lights, (fake!) spiders, or multiple headlights. Even some of those might not realize it should have had the Cerb seats and these hadn't been updated. [edited to add]oops - they are Tuscan seats and they have been changed, doh![/edit]
All the styling cues are straight off other TVR's; its entirely sympathetic to the marque if not the model. Next to a Sag in the same colour you'd look a bit silly saying the Griff was "Chavvy" and the Sag wasn't, IMHO.
Now, there is the question of whether modern TVR's are in fact "chavvy" to consider I suppose.

Yes, you may be right - but in the bottom left picture the Sp Edition appears absent
