MOT Points

Little bit strange this morning, Braved the snow to take the old girl for her MOT, all passed OK apart from I was told the lights were out of alignment, been taking it to the same place for the last 2 years with no problem and the lights have not been touched since last MOT so I fail to see how they could have moved Anyone else had this???
Also as an advisory they mentioned that there were holes in the end of the steering rack gators, he said that they look like they should be there. I thought that they were supposed to be there to let the air out when the gator compresses... Am I correct????

Headlamps go out of alignment with vibration or bumps. There is a tolerance and so they have probably been going for years but this year they have moved beyond that tolerance.
