HP DV8173 Laptop

Anyone here running a laptop like this? I need a new laptop, and this has caught my attention. I need a fairly quick processor, no gaming though, large harddrive, and a good screen. Any comments?

Looks fairly good but I have no experience of HP. A little weak on the graphics memory and I can't see the max resolution anywhere. But at that price you pretty much have a huge choice of laptops.

I dont have that exact model but....

the screen is the same and is excellent quality, vibrant colours.
one down side is the touch pad, not as good as my old toshiba, it skips evey now and again and sometimes gets stuck, but its liveable.

It seems to me that I get a lot of laptop for the money, and storage being the big issue, 160giga is very good. Do you know if I can load XP Media on this as well?
