MOT Work - advice needed?

My car has failed the MOT on the following, bear in mind i will be selling for a S2 in the near future what should i do?

Emissions - replace cat & remove again afetrwards
number plate - replace with normal one
rear indicators - reaplace with orange one
Front shock leaking - replace with standard just front or all round with aftermarket & what sort of costs?
Steering rack gator split - renew
Fuel Cap venting? - need new fuel cap which is around £65!!! any cheaper solutions?

Leave that cat on if you aer going to sell it, might put a buyer off, you can always offer it as a freebie or chuck it on ebay

Numberplate is a no-brainer

Cheap solution for the shocks is to get a second hand one, otherwise you are looking at £500+ to replace it all

Steering rack gator has to be done as soon as possible.

At £65 the fuel cap is a piece of art (almost) can get a cheapo one at halfords, but what is the point you will have difficult job selling the car

PS - posting this on a public forum saying you are looking for cheap ways to fix the car before you flog it on isn't a great way to start advertising it

Agree with what you are saying although the only bit i mentioned trying to get cheaper was the fuel cap which i thought maybe hanger111 or eliseparts might do cheaper. The cars had no expense spared but I feel £65+ for a fuel cap is daylight robbery!!!!!
