I find the F1 the best for powersliding. I used the Cadillac 16 for some of the cone challenges as it goes sideways really easily but it isn't particularly controllable - or fast.

I found the Porshce Super car concept the best (mind you its a bonus car and you need 400,000k to get it.) also the Elfin is quite good for slow speed drifts.

I have lots of cash but do you have to unlock the F1? the top car I could buy and have is the F50GT.

you can just buy the f1 no need to unlock it, from memory!
I use the carbon viper for powerslides although perhaps not the easiest to control although it is awesome fun on the ring.

How much do I need for the F1. I got about 2 million K and whenI see what I can buy I still get the F50GT at 1.5 mill ?

It's a bonus car, last one you get, comes in at around 400,000 kudos (cant remember for sure) its then listed as a Ruf (there are no Porche models )

Having recently got to 475,000 Kudos, you unlock the RUF concept car, which is good fun but not one of the great PGR3 cars.
Also, by reaching this level you get the status of 'Rank 1'.

There by making you a little depressed that you can't move any higher in the game. Apart from some more medals maybe. However, having bought all the cars in the game and got a 'medal' for it? Why do i still have 3 empty parking spaces in my ninth (or tenth, i don't remember) garage? Surely somethings a miss?

Cone races, just practice a bit and you can easily get >10k in a couple of minutes.

Just to play devils advocate, I love the RUF Concept, after getting that I managed to blitz the platinum medals with it. It will beat an F50 on the twisty tracks and handles like a dream. Most of my mates think it is the boobs as well

You still have room in the garage after buying all the cars in case you would ever want to buy one in another colour to what you already have I guess ??

Single player was a let down in the game, all done and dusted, bar a few medals, within a month

Never got anywhere near finishing PGR2 in platinum, even after a year of ownership !!!
PGR3 is a total piece of pee compared to 2

I did some online stuff with my mate on PGR3 last night and he had the F50GT and I had the Ruf Concept Car. I now find myself agreeing totally with you and your mates, now I've put some serious mileage under the tyres of the tuned German nutter. It is an excellent car. Must have just used it on an unsuitable circuit when I got it unlocked and parked it up in the garage previously. I have to say I really like the Ford Concept 90 too. Powerslides 'R' us shopuld be written on the back of that one.

agree that PGR3 is way easier to complete on platinum than pgr2 was. Although after many hours spent on the last few hard challenges i did managed to do it.

Also i've never had a reason to use the Ruf concept, driven it a couple of times and thats it.
