Hello everyone and Merry Christmas. I have been building a 3D computer model of the TVR Cerbera Speed 12 for the computer game: The Need for Speed 4. I have been heavily researching the car to try and get the car as accurate as possible. I have almost all i need (with many thanks to pistonheads.com for their great articles) but I am now looking for performance estimates and paint schemes the car has been produced in.

As far as i know only 2 or so street models have been made, one in silver and one in a cherry red. There has also been a GT racer concept in a chamelion type color, a GT racer test car in all black and the actual GT racer in the light Blue color decorated in Scania decals etc...

I would also estimate performance for the 0-60mph sprint in approx 3.6 secs and a top speed of 220mph. Does this sound about correct (for the street version this is) or am i exagerating the performance a bit?

Heres a pic of the car im building...

Provided you find a pilot brave enough to floor the throttle at a standstill without being afraid of losing traction, you shouldn't be far from it

Absolutely no idea about the top speed though.

Hi Rowan, nice looking model your building. I'm afraid i can't help with the performance of the racers, might be worth emailing Mole valley who successfully raced the GT cars though.
Out of curiosity what software are you using for your model? I currently work on Aurocad 2002, Solidworks and am learning Inventor & Studio max.
Have a good Christmas.

'Road' Cars were produced in silver and the sort of cherry red. There is a theory that it was actually the same car repainted as the silver car was never seen again as soon as the red one appeared.

The race cars have been seen in bare carbon fibre, blue, black, white and purple.

Performance wise you're probably not far off. Top speed has never been ascertained, but should be a little north of 200mph.

If you need more pictures drop me a line, I've got hundreds.

Cheers everyone.

FrenchTVR - Its a small program designed for NFS car creating called carcad. Very simple but it does the job.

PetorlTed - Thanks mate, I have all of the pics from this site, pistonheads and have plenty of the racer from the GT series but If you have any others of the road version it would be of great help.
