I got up about lunchtime when my sister rang the doorbell and woke me up.

The novelty seems to have worn off.

Still Christmas though

I hear they're the things some people have instead of fast cars and a peaceful household

They smell pretty bad and make a horrendous racket by all accounts. Trade-in value poor. Running costs high. Reliability negligible.

You have my sympathies, mate. Because I live in UK my mother-in-law only comes once in a blue moon - she lives in Germany.
