Sunrise photography tips?
Discussion
Think I fancy trying to capture some photos of the sunrise tomorrow, might be snow too, which could make things interesting!
Just wondering if anyone has any tips on what to try, avoid etc, never really tried this before.
Making sure snows white not grey I'm aware of.
Taking a tripod in case I need it.
Any thoughts on how best to capture the sunrise?
Any other things I need to know? t'would be a shame to navigate icey roads at 6 in the morning, get frozen by the wind and not get any half decent shots because of a stupid mistake!
Cheers!

I'm fairly likely to not wake up in time anyway.
Guess what? I missed the sunrise by about 5 minutes. Very annoying, left a bit late, then got stuck behind a lorry (at half 6 in the morning in Dartmoor, whats the chance!?) on a single track road. I did manage to scout out some potential places to take shots though, so will make another effort again soon. I did take a few shots anyway, but they're not very good, just wanted to try and justify the early start to myself!
