Anyone tried Motul 300V in a GT3?

I do oil changes every 5,000km (3,000 miles) as I do track days and autocross in very hot weather, and have been using Mobil 1 up till now (mk2 GT3).

Motul 300V has been strongly recommended to me. I think it's 15W-40 or 15W-50, which sounds about right for hot climates, and I believe it's ester based, not that I have any idea what that means (!).

Has anyone tried it?

In my 308, yes. Simon Barnard at Opie Oils sells it for a good price. IIRC its 15/50

Just looked at lots of archived threads and I see that Simon is a strong advocate of Motul - seems more suitable than Mobil 1 for a hard driven car.

I'll give it a go...
