As I have had to cancel my trip to the main Le Mans this year, just decided to go to the classic le Mans myself and thinking about how/what/where/when etc etc.
Will drive down in the Tuscan but trying to find details of hotels etc. Assume it would be easy to get tickets on the day but peace of mind says I should get them in advance.
Did you get them directly from Le Mans or are you going on an organised trip including hotel?

Hi Brent,
I got mine via a mate in the Cobra Replica club.
The ferry cost £40 from Newhaven to Dieppe, and I think we got a special on the tickets if we bought before mid Jan.
We are camping as there are some 20+ cars going on the same ferry
(all cobras, 1 TVR).
If you want I can ask Kev if he can get more tickets?

Went to last Classic and enjoyed more than main event. Less crowded and enjoyed walking round paddocks. This year 3 TVRs and Verranti Kit Car. We make 5 day trip of it and enjoy usual good roads and excellent food. We stay at Alencon as we do not mind drive. Hotels pretty full already. Hopefully we have managed to get circuit drive this year as we applied before Xmas.
