I purchased a carcoon last year to store the t350 in over winter, i prepared and stored it on the first weekend of November and got it out today. Thats 3 months without even being able to see it, ouch. Its like having a new car all over again this morning when the carcoon came off, once the axle stands were removed i was left with only one more thing to do, fire her up. the red light was still bleeping inside so i new we had some electic, i pushed the button and the door opened.
got in and she fired up first time with the volts reading 11.7. i let her tick over until the oil reached 5c and drove off. I put 50 miles on the clock came home checked the oil which was spot on, cleaned her took the wheels off cleaned and greased all the suspension arms and bits and put her away.

The moral of the story is TVR'S are as reliable as a swiss watch.

I can't believe it started first time! If i don't leave my Tamora connected to an Accumate the battery will be flat within a week. Was the same with my Tuscan.

Do you have any pictures of the carcoon in use?

Same with my T350T.

Stood for 3 months. Arrived home, cranked it over : started first time. All sweet as a nut.
