Washed it Waxed it added Injector cleaner, Let it tick over for twenty minutes to get up to temperature and normalise then listened as I am sure the Revs settled down as the injectors cleared, (of course it could have just been the Choke) but it went from a glorious rumble to a volcanic roar. at least thats how i heard it.

After over a year of my car being sat in the garage its priority has moved up and has now seen the light of day. Its had new plugs, oil, anti-freeze etc but the battery is knacked so need to get another one. Then I can get rid of the airlock and take it for an MoT then back on the open road....

Reset the timing. Fitted SS rocker covers complete with nice new rubber type gaskets. replaced a load more hoses and clips. Had no time to wash him since meriden so will have to go to the Staffs/Shrops meet at lunch time in a Big Bad Very Dirty Wedge, but someones got to fly the flag.

Took the car out for a decent run yesterday. Had to as the roads were clear of snow/ice but it was sunny if a little cold. Had to put the thermal long johns on but the bottle of white I had lying in the passenger seat was well chilled by the time I got to my brothers .

Mind you, the journey home was a little nerve racking. It is a long time since I drove the BBW in the dark and I had forgotten how bad the lights are and the needle on the speedo is almost invisible .

My wife connected the right hand side of our shiny metallic green 5 series with the nearside front of the wedge, lovely red scrape along the length of the beemer, and a marvellous wedge out of the wedge.

Top job wifey.
She's an advanced driver as well.

Might be on the cards Dicky, I'm tempted to respray it at numbnut's garage, he's got the spray booth with the extractor fans.. Red isn't too bad to do either.

Went out to garage - planned to just run wedge "round the block" to "warm it up" - Hour and a bit later it was put away. Lovely day/awesome drive.

Still playing with painting the front of the wedge.

Wired up more of the WSV, tidyied garden, shed, greenhouse, moved new project onto drive for a play with later.

Got jeep back from repairer and she has managed to scrape the only arch extension that was not painted by repairer against the WSV
