eg. does a '7' match up to a wedge for shear fun - but you can't buy one for that money anyway unless its a copy.

My mate has a caterham 7 thingy he is trying to sell so he can buy a Wedge. we went for a blatt last year when I had the 350. They are very different cars a wedge is more a GT car the 7 is a big go kart. very low, very fast round the corners, but just the same as a go kart I was glad to get out of it. They are all different just like wedges, with engines from a 1600 ford crossflow, vtecs, 2 ltr vauxhalls up to super hairy bike engines. On our run out we stopped at Matlock Bath Derbyshire, on a weekend this place is packed with bikes and all sorts of sunday cars inc 6 or 7 caterhams, we parked along side em and yes the Wedge got all the attention. It depends what you want from your car, Me I want to get noticed and show off. I want to be one of the very few not one of the many. But back to the price thing, you cant beat a Wedge when it comes to Bangs for you Buck

By the sound of it , not much matches the wedge for price/thrills- not too many seem to know this or they would pay more for the priviledge - my thought at present is something light/small with a v8 up front , matter of screwing some b...rd down to the right figure who is desperate to sell. V8's somehow are magical - think its the sound !

Chims don't come under 'as exiting as a wedge ' , there was a s-eight sold on e-bay a few weeks ago for £6200 - thats more like it - anyone driven one ?
