Been looking at PistonHeads and on the net but could not find the answer. Did the 959 come in right hand drive? Any one seen one lately on the road?

Ive got a feeling it didnt because the cost would have been too high. I saw one in Reading last week, didnt get a good enough look to see if it was a genuine one though

Saw one a few months back on the A3 near Guildford. Went into a shreiking mode and the gf thought I had finally gone mad. So spent the next 10 minutes of the journey explaining the 959. She was a little impressed by the car but also scared about my knowledge of it....

...Rest of the time it seems to live out back in the workshop at Porsche Reading. What was it doing at Goodwood, was it running?

Funny, from that angle it looks like an wide 914 grafted to a 911

No. I'm not into purple cars...or purple anything.

That picture is from much too close up. The view of the rear of the car is actually one of the better ones, from a few feet or more away.

In the flesh it's more a Maroon/dark wine colour, but still an awful colour though, and with the savannah interior, it just looks 'ill'...

would be nice if you could bung a pic or two of your's up on here I know it's not your scene to 'show' off, but it is a rather special motor; and I'm sure we'll all appreciate seeing it, and be glad that someone actually uses it.

I was poodling round the Daventry ring road the other day in wife's C3, whizzed into a roundabout and suddenly my mirrors are FULL of a silver 959 .... couldn't believe it, nearly fell off the road, looked much too good to not be kosher ! Made my day, even if I was on the way to Bruntingthorpe ... !

cheers, Maurice

Being serviced at the mo. Not sure whether I have any pictures lying around. I'll try to put up something when I can.
