Yes, the guys and girls here chrome any and everything. They have a rather vulgar vehicle called the Escalade. I saw someone down in Miami with chrome wheels that kept on spinning when the car had stopped. Just over the pond but the levels of taste drop lower than you could possibly imagine.
(not all of our U.S cousins have bad taste by the)good save
*Graham.j, I am bored out of my brain, in case you were wondering why I'm on every topic waiting for flight back to London.

Sorry, laptops playing up, again!

Flying at 11pm(uk time). Have only managed to spend 5 days in London this year so I will be glad to get one or two more before it's 2003.

*I wish it was photoshop but I've seen them up close and they are real. The funny thing is the owners are so proud. You don't want to see what they do to a Ferrari:sad:
Try typing in chrome-rims or escalade in google and hope the maxpower boys don't get any ideas.

It's horrific what they do, it's a shame those few are models, do you have any real pics of terrible cars out there?

It's enough to make a grown man cry.

I really don't want to know what they do to ferrari's

Will be nice to be back in blighty, even tho the weather is sh*te.

Photoshop fakes are usually let down by the spaces between the spokes (Massive brake calipers, not matching scenery etc), as Marra says he's seen them I have no doubt that these are genuine. The turning circle must be akin to a super tanker

Brace yourself! 22inch rims with Gucci interior. That's just to start. How stomach churning can you get?

More money than taste?! I never like to put anyone who obviously loves their vehicle down, but no my cup of tea!

Oh dear..sorry but no thanks, I should put my westfield on there, GRP drivers seat, 3" 4point harnesses, no radio because you can't hear it because of the engine and exhaust, 5 spoke alloys with black tyres on.

Or the signature of someone on the WSCC forum:

Lotus badged Westfield SE, super-glued, round-tube frame, leatherette body work with detachable roll-bar, steering column and carpets. Magnesium, big-bore Xflow (400 bhp at front wheels) breathing through a pair of Dyson cyclonics. Runs on percolated Ribena combined with a 20% titrated methanol mix.

I'd pay big money to see someone put a Magnesium exhaust system on a Max Power shopping cart!
