CO level question
Discussion
Whilst my car was at AFN having a intercooler tube replaced, they also reset the CO levels to 0.2% Apparently they were at 8%.
Can someone explain to me what this means, especially as I spent a reasonable amount of money having G-Force set my fuelling optimally for 1 bar boost. Basically I'm worried this might imply a lean fuel condition on full boost.

Basically UV, when it comes to MOT time, it would have failed!! The CO limit is 0.3% by volume on fast idle, 0.5% on 'natural' idle.
The current owner of my old 964, with an AmD hot film conversion, had this problem when she took it for a MOT -they had to turn the 'wick' down.
So, it should be designed to run at this setting -you may notice a downturn in performance though.

PS What do G-Force have to say?

I suspect what GF did was to make the idle rich so that at full RPM/full boost the mixture wasn't lean. The guy at AFN just looked pissed off when I started asking question about what he had done.
I'll give GF a ring when they are back in, or I might find my way over to Colins place, given i'm not to far away at the mo.

I had a quick look at the new intercooler pipe AFN put on. On inspection I also noticed that they had left the tool for adjusting the mixture in the adjuster. How easy does the mixture adjustment screw move? Is it likely that driving around with the tool in place has messed up my fuelling?
