I found it on this website:
www.bmpcars.co.uk/stockdetails.asp?id=290
It is not one of the specialist TVR dealers and it is not advertised here ore on PH--- it seems to be a bargain, as acc to my knowledge a W registered Cerbera schould be at least 4000 pounds more expensive (it also looks like a lightweight which might make it even more tempting)
Does any of the CERBI Geeks here know the Car or the dealership as it might reduce my waiting time for a TVR if this car was really promising....
Regards and thanks

aftermarket dash though
Might not be aftermarket, my 4.2 had the same patterned alloy dash, fitted by the factory from new. I think it suits the interior well.
Generally, that car looks good in that colour combo and with those wheels. Would be worth giving them a call re the history.

Found out a bit more from the dealer- says it is the car of a friend from his?
Been off the road since 2004 (but is MOTed and running) had all the services done in Blackpool up to 2004- so needs a major Service (dealer is prepared to have it serviced and warrantied at an extra cost for me), there are stone chips to the front, scratches to the offside wing and a dent in the rear which would be refurbished by him within this price (or he would be prepared to knock a further 1000 GBP off the price), as well as the front wheels which have some kerbs- again this would be sorted- acc to him there is no structural damage to the car whatsoever and it is driving very well -MOT 08/2006- the dealer will come back to me with the cost of the warranty and the service (which I guess is arround GBP 1200.-)
Do you Guys think it is worth crossing half the country to look at it (the chap was very honest about all the niggles, they seem to be minor, so he is NOT saying the car is mint if it is NOT and therfore I think he might be OK???)
Regards
Oliver

@gazzab- would it be worth talk to Rob Ingleby about it- or consider taking it to the factory in Blackpool (which is not to far from the place as well)- or just wait another 6 Months and buy something in one of the franchises here in the South- unfortunately you buy these car not exactly with your head (but it is still working- which it might NOT be when I am driving it) but I learned from this forum that your first TVR will either be your last one- or it will lay foundations for a long lasting relationship.....

Is he ready to sell it, or is he fishing about for offers ?
A dent in GRP, that sounds cheap
Is he selling as a project or what ?
Is it on the register ?
Give it a miss, sounds like hard work to me.
Major service including tappet adjustment plus warranty you're looking at nearer 2K from a TVR dealer. Check the warranty very carefully, have a search on here as there are some that are not worth the paper they're written on.
At the end of the day you could buy a completely sorted one and it could still go wrong and cost you an arm and a leg. It's just luck of the draw (worth it though).

@cooky
That is a very kind offer and would at least save me the cost of travel if you give me a clear hands off- otherwise i d be very happy to pay off my debts with the one or other beer @ a cerbera meeting in the near future (as it looks really exactly like i wanted it and the price is tempting - if it is not a wreck...)
Please let me know- also if you want any reimbursements...
Please Remember that i am a TVR virgin and my only other "supercar" experience is a few years back with an M3 and an Integrale- I know how to walk though as currently owning a TR 6
@ Russel
He seemed to be quite frank but stated he has not had the car in long enough to have it all sorted and wanted me no to come the way before it's done - if I wanted it asap the offer of the discount- seems to be a good idea though if cooky could drop his eye on it before (if the dent should turn out a whole rather...0
Thanks again in advance folks

No probs, to be fair, looking at his site, it's more likely that he's advertising the car for someone, or they've left it with him on SOR.
Nothing wrong with that, I think our own Mr Agger does it.
Could also explains why the car's not ready for retail.
edited to add, may be worth him emailing the "dent" picture to you, saving wasting both of your time.

No problem, I go take a look for you, no reimbursement needed, happy to help out another Cerb owner/fan.
If I take mine may even get a test drive and get it on a ramp.
Email me a contact number thru my profile and I will be in touch.
