Hi, thanks for replies already to earlier post, this forum is great, it works really well, next thing on my mind is paint!!1
My jago is milky gone off green, not too much crazing or damage just shot gelcoat, i have read all about wet sanding and everything, but can i not just etch prime the shell and paint onto that??? the car has been bought to do a charity banger rally in september, so prep of the car can't cost too much money, i am quite happy for it(actually quite fancy) to be matt finished khaki or green, i am not looking for show quiality finish , just something neat and presentable, any ideas or websites showing other jagos looking tidy without 3k paint jobs would be great,, Mark

you can DA it with about 320 grit or scotchbrite it [its like sheets of wirewool, Mill Auto might have it] then prime it with an etch made for fibreglass then paint it, job done

got any army surplus places your way?
my buddy got 2 1/2 litres of ex nato drab green from a place near burton and it covers like you wouldnt believe - he just flatted and painted over paint from the way it stuck may be able to leave primer out [cost being a consederation] and it has the benefit of being readiation reflective in case of nuke attack!!!
