Hi all, A quick update. You may recall me asking all sorts of daft questions ref bumpsteer etc a month or two ago. Well, new front suspension bushes later, and it is totally fixed. Now runs straight and true, no banging or bumping. So, if your car squeaks (rubbers debonded in metallastic bushes), steering wobbles strangely (but not all the time), unstable steering on bumpy roads - change your bushes! I fitted Powerflex, although they were hard to fit to my 92 car, I think they fit easier to 500's than pre-cat. Powerflex were very good though, and made me specials to suit.

Am on brink of new shox, and it's a budget thing. My existing are original bilsteins, it seems. They seem ok, just firm and I want more give in the ride but still to be sure footed in corners.

Am looking at either gaz TVRCC at £650 inc vat or the protechs and note that tcs from that link above do a deal on both protechs and p'flex bushes all round at £730, at what seems to be an including VAT figure, according to the site above.

But what shox did you have on already and how old are they?
