need insurance for VX while on the boat from OZ ideas?

my VX leaves Brisbane on the 27th March and i need to find some insurance for it while it is on the boat just incase something happens the car is with NRMA now but they will not cover it through international waters any of you boys that have done this can you give me a hand?

I think you will need to talk to a broker... I did this b4 mine left OZ, was not cheap though (circa $1400 with a $1000 excess). This was for about 20K worth of personal effects packed with the car as well (had my own container) I think it's called all risk marine insurance or similar. I don't think any regular car policy will cover this risk, well certainly not Oz ones. Cheers, J

I had my car exported from Oz in the same container with household effects by Ansett Wridgeways - insurance cover was part of the deal - didn't pay anything extra.
