Over filled the full tank
Discussion
Just bought me T350 and when I picked it up the guy said don't over fill the full tank or we'll have to do something, I remember what. Any ways I'm not use to filling it up yet, it said it had 4L - 9L and the manual says 53L so I put 40L in and it over flowed. the gauge now says 51L but have I done something wrong which will need fixing now. It started up fine so there appears to be no problem.
What they said.
Plus, as you pull into the filling station, work out how many litres you'll need to get from current to 50 litres. Then when it clicks off at around 45 litres (or whatever the amount needed is), don't put any more in. as it will spit out.
Clean the petrol runoff from the car quickly as it will damage the paint and need a respray if you leave it (mine and one other T350 had this when nearly new).

This is very interesting.
I collect my T350T in a couple of days and since I had the car demonstrated, including the funky petrol cap I have beem wondering how easy it is to fill.
From what I can gather from this thread would I be correct in assuming that 50 litres is near enough a full tank?
Also is it possible to remove the nozzle without any spillage on the paintwork?
Cheers

Yes 50-52 litres.
Yes, just like going to the toilet - give it a few wags at the end to prevent drippage.
