I've sussed the ecu/fusebox positioning along with one piece of trim that was in the boot, however I have these left...Any ideas? I reckon one goes under the steering column...

The 350 was still in "winter mode" Use to remove the leather side trims to expose the heater ducts - ram a cloth up the passenger duct so all the warm air would be vented on my side or the screen Don't tell the wife

PS be careful you don't dislodge any wires at the back of the relay board or.......no starty and a pig to fault find!

If you ask Silverbackmike nicely he may post a photo at my attempt at heater Nirvana - needless to say it failed and nearly killed me

Edited to say the rag up the pipe does work though! Downside for me is there is no duct for the driver on my SEAC

Mike: you see the scribbles on the back of the heater trim panel? That's one of the joys of TVRs, that is.
Once the interior trim panels had been cut to fit a particular car (and they're not often interchangeable as a result!), they were sent up to the trim shop. So the guys would know which car they were for, they'd write the chassis number on the back of each panel.

It doesn't stop there: the production line guys often wrote messages in hidden places that you find when you peel the carpets back: probably the most famous is 'Man City for the Cup' and 'Beckham is a W@nker' scrawled on a certain Cerbera...

My 390SE bodyshell was signed by the three blokes who laid it up: you have to lie on your back under the nose to see it, but approximately behind the TVR logo are three signatures and the date in 1987.

Real cars built by real people.

One of my dad's mates has worked for TVR for years: he tells horror stories... such as how the early Wedge bonnets used to collapse or distort with the engine heat, so they used blocks of wood and ratchet straps to pull them back into shape, then used the sprayshop ovens to warm the GRP until it reshaped to the car...

You can almost hear Peter Wheeler telling them to spend no more than fourpence-ha'penny on't job...

What's the purpose of the 2 connections between the plenum and the brake servo then? Never seen anything like that before

And a lot of people disconnect the cold start injector as it's usually not needed. Might be worth a try.

2 connectors.......Umm err uummm another embarrasing mod best forgoten about!! Cold injector works fine and is a benefit on this 350. I think it's the bigger Wedges where they do not aid cold starting.
