Help With Smart FTP

Since i have built my new pc i cant upload with Smart FTP. I can connect to my server (hosted with register 1) i can view and delete directories but i cant upload new ones. My old pc still works and lets me upoad files but my new one wont. What could be stopping me uploading files. im running xp pro with SP2 i have the windows firewall turned off. the only other firewall im using is the one in my router.

Have you tried with passive mode on and off? Just a stab in the dark.
