I have previously owned a 4litre Chimera and recently a Tuscan. Swore I would never have another TVR after unbeleivable amount of troubles with my Tuscan. Including the roof panel flying off at 90 mph, Too many problems to mention. Anyway the TVR drug is back and I am currently searching for a 4.5 Cerbera. I would be extremely gratful for any help or guidelines you could offer whilst looking. I only have 20k to spend and as a result will look to buy an r reg 1998. I really would like a 4.5 just because it is such a monster. Can you give me any guidence please. Thank you for any help,

Unsure of your location, but got my 4.5 from Gatwick TVR and have always been pleased with the service they offered...before and after sales. But whatever, you MUST get one!!! SMILE as you impress the kids and frighten the Grannies dropping through the box in the High Street!!!

Suggest you do a search on past threads and what to look for.
Regarding your above statement...I think you will find that all 3 models are monsters, and the difference between them regarding performance (which i assume is what you are referring to i.e- bhp) is not as great as you think. My advise would be to buy a sorted 4.2, and spend on upgrades.
