Spare boot carpet required

I want to make some covers to protect the rear lights in the Griff as I have now got new units in there and they are easy to damage, especially when the boot is full on weekends away. Thinking of a 18" square approx piece over each light, padded with foam and velcro'd to the existing carpet. For info the carpet is a bland mid grey colour.
Anyone got any unwanted spare bits or know where I can source some?

Halfords and maplins both sell the exact same carpet that I have in the boot of mine (grey) and for around £10 for a 2x1m piece.
