Is yours a "he" or a "she" ?

Strange thing is, most people seem to refer to their motor as a "she". I've always thought of my cars as being "he". Strikes me as being all blokes together doing blokey things so the car must be a bloke ?

Surely if it were a "she" the noise would be more of a whine and the money spent would be much more unpredicatable. What "she" would obey the slightest of commands and respond with such enthusiasm whenever you're in the mood for a good thrashing ?

Awaiting abuse from female PHers - would be interested to find out if yours is a "he" or a "she" and why ?

The 996 C2 was a she, the GT2 is definitely a he, it has big hairy balls

Given my 944's wallet emptying prowess, I suspect that it's a she with a penchant for a good thrashing.

You can't say all manufactured items are 'its'

My 993 4S is a she..... from good German aristocratic stock, getting on a bit..... am I going too far?

PS - she's called Gretchen, previous 993's have been called Claudia and Heidi!

Strangely the Boxster was a She (Suzie), the 996 is a He. Dunno why

Therefore a "he" I suppose...sadly, however much I love it, I will always think of my car as an "it".

My 3.2 Carrera was a she,
lots of effort later its now a He, all rough and rusty with a big beefy engine.
When I find the money to sort the bodywork it will become a she again.

Im confused, the car is confused, my wife is confused.
