I've got a specialist piece of kit from Targus, converts both aircraft DC as well as car cigar lighter for my laptop...

I didn't know that airlines were providing power for passengers. Which airlines offer this?

Here you go - this is good for creating clouds of acrid smoke within 10 minutes (at a 1.8A draw)... no need for me to tell you how I found that out, I'm sure.

Now if they got net access on aircraft I could go on PH the whole flight. That would stop me getting bored!

Edited to say thanks Nick!

The normal Aircraft that do that route have power in Business and First sections. These aircraft are refered to by EVA as 701 + 702.

They are the 2 pin type of plug, I guess like you get in France I would buy an adapter from the terminal and you should be fine.

The internet in Aicraft is on its way. Boeing have developed a system but it is very expensive.

Sod that, if it's clouds of acrid smoke you want on a plane:

I'd use an iGo myself. Probably the most flexible and reusable solution available.
