My oil warning light has stared to flicker after i've been for a fast drive it is only doing it on tick over or when the fans cut in. My pressure is the same as before and never goes below 15 PSI is my thinking is most likely to be a problem with the electrical system. I know the dash light runs off a second sensor behind the oil pump is it likley that it could have been damaged or just packed up?

By the way just got the car back from having the head gasket changed and it was'nt doing this before but before someone says take it back to them it has been back already and this is has not been the only problem.

Cheers

I know where you got this done (yours was parked next to mine outside the workshop)

Give the boy a ring, I doubt he will have a problem with this.

I would but I feel after 3 months of waiting to get the car back and a few other problems like the main feed to the battery from the alternator not being conected (had to call the AA out) the rear exhaust mount missing and a loose exhaust clamp plus not much water in the cooling system I dont think the car will be going back.

I think he's a good guy just far to much work to cope with.

Which is absolutely no excuse for below par workmanship.

Take it back and inform him politely but firmly what you expect him to do and when by.

By the way I have no idea who you are talking about, but it's what I'd do whoever it was.
