Sources for 928's

Most specialists seem to be concentrating exclusively on 993s, 996s & Boxsters now, but a good site for private ads is www.928.org.uk
Probably technically not allowed in the rules & feel free to remove but given there are so few 928`s with dealers & we only get 1 in a year!
We are taking a really genuine 928 in p/x tomorrow (Friday). 1 family owned from new, (father & son for past year or so). 1988 (I think) S4 auto in silver with dk blue leather.
Will be on the site, (although we may paint a small scratch on the front of the bonnet first so there could be a slight delay).
One of the hardest Porsches in the world to buy, you look at a hundred and 99 are bloody horrible. Good ones, if you can find one are an absolute hoot and in relative terms a positive bargain.
Once again appologies if we`ve broken posting rules & wouldn`t do it with any other car but 928 buyers need all the help they can get !

If it was me ( an it cant be cos my wife will only let me have one 928) I'd be looking on the 928.0rg website and asking the guys on the list who will know many of the cars for sale. Henry is right they are a great car and nothing like any other porker

No, that's cool in this instance Henry... they are rare cars and if it gives a PHer first shot at a potentially nice car then you're doing him a favour.
As explained, not going to make a habit but the 928 is such a hard car to find a good example of. I didn`t want to put it on our site properly as we`ve put it in for a little bit of paint, (photos). A special page, just for pistonheads, of the car.
