Used HSV parts for sale.
Discussion
Following on from V8HSV's recent topic.
My old HSV has been purchased from Norwich Union via Bluecycle (owned by N-U) by a friend of mine who is passing it on to LSV. The car has to be broken & the shell crushed. This is done under very strict regulations & fortunately my friend has been granted permission to allow one of his mechanics to break the car. This should ensure that it is stripped down without damaging anything, as the Supercharger has various ancillaries that require careful dismantling. The mechanic can also liase with Mark at LSV if he is unsure about anything.
I know that LSV plan to use the engine & S/Charger, but I'm not sure what other parts they want to retain.
Give Doug at LSV a call if your interested in anything.

What sort of things would be worth salvaging?
As I said, I don't know what LSV want to keep, but basically only the o/s panels (from A pillar back), part of the rear axle, o/s rear wheel & of course the actually shell/chassis is f****d, everything else is fine.
So depends what you need, the HSV LSD has an oil cooler in it, the HSV suspension is better than standard Holden set up. AP brakes etc. etc.
