Hi all,

A request for some assistance, from anyone who will be attending Oulton on Sat 18th in either a MK1 GT3 or the RS version.
I'm sick to death of my other half, whinning on about these motors. He's not sure which one he would prefer, but I can't get him to go for a test drive until he can afford either/or.
Therefore would anybody be willing to give him a few passanger laps and their opinions & experiences of the cars. As I doubt if my marriage will survive, if I have to tolerate another 12 months, only for him to decide he wants a MK1, when he is able to go and get one now.
By the way from a personnal stand point will anyone be there with a yellow 993RS? (It's a sunflower thing!)

Cheers

Wallsy

John Probert will be there in his yellow RHD 993 RS. I can't make it due to going to a bloody wedding.

I'll have my Mk1 GT3 there. Silver, LHD, Black Sunstrip with PORSCHE in white lettering. Come & say hello & I'll take him round.

Usually, unless the driver has an Easytrack membership then it's free IIRC

Should be no more than £10 to sign on as a passenger for the day + a small charge for helmet hire if you don't own one.

Hello Wallsy,
I will be there in my 993RS, Oulton is my local track!
Out of interest, was it you I met at Brands Hatch Festival last year?

Yeah, stupid bloody wedding next weekend. Not mine I might add.. I wouldn't have a wedding on the same day as the annual Oulton bash.

At least one of you has impeccable taste in fast cars! Make that two yellow 993RS's .... although Johns is slightly more yellow than mine at the moment.

I don't think you will be able to miss either of us so be sure to drop across and say hello, I'm sure I can squeeze you into the clubsport passenger seat for the odd lap or twelve.

Hi folks

John, Ninemeister, thanks for your response, I'll be sure to bring my camera. I've never been to Brands, so I think it's fairly safe to say it we have'nt spoken before. And I already knew my taste in cars is better than his, actually my taste in everything is better than his.
Andy will look out for you also, out of interest do you use the car on the road or purely for track days.

Still looking for anyone who will be there with a 996 RS and would prepared to give their views/experiences.

cheers
Wallsy

As with my 3.2 Club Sport, it will be used mainly for track + the odd blast at weekends & trips to LeMans etc.
