Still cant get insurance For VX

Can anyone help i still cant find anyone to insure my VX also cant find someone that will insure it while it is on the boat.

Shipping Co should be able to help with the transit insurance.

Have you swapped to a UK licence?
What is the Ins Co problem, you or the car?

Basically the shipping companey has left it up to me sort out and the insurance companies here are saying under the government insurance policies will not allow the car to be insured witha VIN cant get a price at all they are saying that i am not allowed to drive here on QLD plates.

ring tescos & tell them an existing policy holder (actually I just renewed with direct line) insured with them on his Oz plate (insured on VIN) and keep persisting til you speak to a supervisor. They may struggle with the model name initially so just settle for Holden or HSV Holden Commodore - they do have it on their system. I can give you my policy number if you want give me yr email & I'll send it to you. It is 100% legal to insure on VIN & drive on Oz plates.

As far as shipping goes though - car & shipping ins are totally seperate - you wont find a car insurer to cover it enroute - best speaking to a broker - once again I can email you the co details in Melb that arranged my shipping cover.
