That would smart a little... Shame the driver was asleep and didn't think to go round him...

I feel sorry for the car driver, that idiot appears from nowhere just behind an upside down bike and he/she has no where to go. Very difficult to go around if you are not expecting it!

nasty accident that one, obviously the riders fault for loosing the bike, and very unfortunate that the car was too close to really have time to react. Reminds me of a near miss I had years ago, when I was driving to work in my RS2000, saw a bike coming the other way around a bend and just saw the front wheel go (probably on diesel) as I was looking at him. I stood on the brakes as he hit the deck sliding towards me. As I stopped he slid to a halt and just kicked the front spoiler with his boots. All I could see was his eyes staring over the bonnet through the visor. Scared the crap out of both of us. Another split second and I'd have gone over him. Helped him pick the bike up, no damage to him and just a few scrapes and busted lamps on the bike, I was just thankful that I had good rally tyres on the car and that I was looking in the right direction when he lost it.
