Front End knocking

hi,

Had my '98 911 for a month now - still have to 'pop out' for a drive.... However, I have noticed some knocking noises at low speeds from the front end. Having driven BMW530 for a couple of years I am used to no noise at all. I understand I should expect more noise with the 911 but not sure if this is a symptom or just what Porsches do.

I had that too. Mine was the front arms on the suspension had worn - common on 996s.

Iirc it was about £250 from an indy to replace and fit new ones.
