Dumb things to forget to check

Drove back from the MOT station the other day, got home and noticed my bonnet was open (911).
phew - thank god I had set the catch properly - others have not been so lucky with the old bin lid flipping back against the screen at 90mph. It would not have been good.

Cant think whey the MOT man was looking under the bonnet though?

Technically yours should have failed on an insecure luggage compartment lid
