quicker than virtually anything in the dry... but let your guard drop for a second and... 
Following one of these in the Griff the other day
We both exited an island with a nice clear road ahead and the Lambo booted it so I though well I may as well see if I can keep up and to my surprise I did. I was right up his chuff until we reached a bend approaching 90, at which point I had a brown trouser moment and backed off. The Lambo went round it like it was on rails
Point is though, either the Lambo wasn’t really trying or my 12 year old plastic pleasure dome is still bloody quick in a straight line.

I followed one of these up the Stelvio last year, loads of hairpins. We were passing guys on motorcycles (you should have seen the look on those faces) but I managed to keep up with him. I know he would have left me standing on a piece of motorway, but in the mountains we were even.

Approach it with the right attitude and you will have a great time but think that you can jump in and floor it after a week and you will end up facing the wrong way. Went in convoy down to Goodwood last weekend and with the cold weather/cold tyres 3 of us mentioned that they were sliding to the right as we accelerated even in a straight line. Rich...Bluey's arse slides to the left when he goes, and the front twists right. Maybe when the shockers are replaced things will happen like it does to everyone else's Griffs. Gonna be some time though, sadly, unless Ian can get me some second hand ones from somewhere, just not enough spondoolix
I am now more cautious than I was when we got the car, after those 3 slides we had a few weeks ago,when it was freezing cold and I guess the tyres just wouldnt get warmenough to stick.
