Hi

I am just in the process of buying 96 4.2 Cerbera - with the intention of going hill climbing and sprinting.

Car has not been used for some time, needs emmisions sorting and quite possibly a new exhaust system and cats for the MOT, as the car seems to have been fitted with a single cat system? (Anyone got an old system thay no longer need?)

I also need to get hold of some software to set things up, can anyone help?

Anyone got any advise on setting up for this sort of activity?

Based in Chippenham, Wiltshire would love to hear from other local competiters

If you look at my thread from jan 06 called sprinting cerbs you will find quite a bit of information. The most useful is probably the tvrcc yahoo chat group from which the tvr national sprint championship is run. Its a great championship with a nice bunch of people.

You mentioned cats-personally i wouldnt bother so long as you have someone friendly who can get it through an mot. sound testing wont be an issue with no cats so long as you dont go for a rear sports exhaust.

Rather than engine power which is adequate for most hills the most cost effective things to focus on are tyres, suspension and brakes.

I you have any queries or want further help just shout

cheers
