'SNOWFLAKE' DASH LIGHT, WHAT IS IT??!!

My firstpost as a Cerbera owner!! Just got the car on Thursday, what a car!! got all the history, lodsa receipts but no owners manual hence my question, the 'snowflake' warning light in the middle of the dash came on today, first it was green, then went red red, what does this mean? Basic question im sure, but if i dont ask, i aint gonna learn!! Plus, v wet drivers carpet, guess i need to check all the seals etc, ha, and no heat getting to my toes!! Still love it despite niggles.

1 question and 2 common problems.

The snowflake indicated external temp

Green : 2 - 4 degrees c
Orange : 0 - 2 degrees c
Red : 0 or less

As for the other problems..... if you search of them you'll find plenty of threads... it depends on year of car and heating ducting type as this was changes for later cars.

That's the theory, but mine seems to have been installed backwards. First the red comes on, then if it gets colder, the yellow/orange. Never seen the green, but I know it works because it cycles through the three of them when you turn the ignition on.

Mines the same, it's the opposite to the above;

Red : 2-4 deg C
Orange : 0-2 deg C
Green : 0 or less

Mine goes from green to red to blue as things get cooler, odd?

Mine's as per cerealsurfer's!

As for the cold toes, you need the fan on for heat - there's no free-flow of air on the move unless you have the fan on. Mind you, some cars don't give heat with the fan!!

Dont' really know the colour order for the light - all i know is, when it's on, it's bloody freezing outside, so drive carefully just in case

Cold Toes - Have you opened the air vent in the drivers footwell? You have to feel down the Transmission tunnel with your left hand, it's about knee height

We both believe in driving the car rain, snow or shine but take it easy out there. As for the heater... as been mentioned before its got to be turned on to work and thats the red one not the blue one. LOL. (c3ber, i have a confession about that).
