So what does "ported" really mean ?? Polished ? smooth ?

Those two were opened out (IIRC one was for 45mm trumpets) and polished, pretty labour-intensive. I did some mild porting on the manifold that's on my car now, nothing like as aggressive as the original, and it took bloody hours with a large die grinder and a smaller flexi-shaft using aerospace-grade burrs. I didn't have the patience to polish it as well, I wanted to see results!
