Sylva Stylus chassis plate location

What year is it ? before the MOT was tighten up some cars just had the chassis number stamped on one of the chassis tubes. Try asking somone @ www.clubstylus.org ?.

It was up to the owner to put the chasis no on it.
When I bought mine I was given a letter or invoice with the chassis no on it. I had to borrow a set of punches & stamp it on a plate then rivit it to the chassis.
When its new you could make up any number if you wanted as it only comes into play for the registering & trace ability of the main chassis.
If you havent got the number on a registeration document contact stylus who can tell you it will be something like SSC 01 0???
