Blair stands by Cherie, but says he sometimes wishes she had a nicer mouth
LONDON - Herdofsheep has spoken to sources close to the Blair family, and Tony was supposedly resolute in standing by Cherie. Although, we are told, he sometimes wishes she had a nicer mouth.
"Tony absolutely stands by Cherie on this one," our source said. "He's furious that the press have gone after her over the Peter Foster thing. But having said that, well, yes, sometimes he wishes she had a nicer shaped mouth."
Cherie's achievements as a Barrister and as a Mother were huge sources of pride for Tony, our source said, but the large angular mouth was a negative.
"If she has her mouth closed, then it's not so different from a lot of other mouths. But when she smiles, it kind of surprises everyone who looks at it. And Tony is completely open about that."
The PM was not going to let the media hound his wife for the sake of it, he said. But, on the other hand, neither was he going to pretend that his wife had good lips.
