airbag warning light ?

Can anyone help me with this one...
The airbag warning light has recently started to come on. Obvioulsy the airbag hasn't been deployed so I wonder what it can mean.

Anyone know what it means and what I can do about it ?

It means it's time to dump the airbag wheel and get a nice three spoke Club Sport wheel. Think of all that weight you'll be saving...

Obviously first port of call is RTFM. seriously though I don't have a clue, so I'll make a few wild guesses:

1 - Could it be time to change the gas canister that is used for inflating the airbag?

2 - Could there be a loose connection?


I'd give a 993 specialist a call or OPC and see what they recommend. As is usual you can guarantee someone else has been in the same situation and asked exactly the same question.
