I looked at my friends list over the weekend and nearly everyone was playing Ghost Recon.. I feel PGR3 might be a bit quite for a while

Congrats guys.

I can't find the time to play PGR 3 at the moment.

I reckon I can get a few hours in tonight, but I so want to get back into GRAW, RR6 and even PDZ as I've not played that, and I got it with the console!!

I might get a few evenings this week if I'm lucky, but Saturday I'm on track at Donington Park.

Great time J, glad to see another person using manual

Well i'm still a dedicate pgr3 player. My 53.20 lap as you no doubt saw, wasn't actually great. I hit the barrier on the exit of the chicane and wasn't as quick as i could have been round some corners. 52's are possible on that tack and i may have another go at trying for a 52.

Can't place this weeks track but i shall give it a go tonight and see.

Had a play on the online career this week to and on my word it was total carnage. I lost my temper with one guy who accused me of spinning him although he hit a barrier and went straight into me however i controlled my slide and he didn't. Then the tt game up behind me and rammed me into the wall. So i started laying in to him he then rammed two others and they started giving abuse to. He then tried to take out the leader (who had trueskill of 30!!!!) but missed and screwed himself over.

Lee: I got PDZ with the 360 to and i've played it for probably an hour. The gameplay is slow IMO. Give me halo 3, in fact give me halo 2.

I didn't come last! Wahey! All I need now is for 3 of you faster blokes to miss out a week of PGR3 while playing GRAW and I could get a point!

Mrs is away this weekend with some mates, i'll have to get some proper hours on the 360.

Cheers Jezza, like you say though, a high .52 was easily obtainable with the right lap. Good job on the no. 1 spot though

Only problem I have now is that I can't put GRAW down, or stop thinking about it for more than 5 minutes, lol...

good news . Did they tell you what the fault was?

Also how good is the cc8s round this track! ultimate control is needed to get it round those bends at speed but what fun it is. 50's are do-able but doubt first spot can be taken due to the guy being luck with the barrier!

It's not luck with the barriers, it's blatant cheating, they use the barriers to bounce round quicker than you can drive around them.

It was a problem in PGR2 and now it's in PGR3 !!

oh yeh agreed, i've seen several of the "worlds fastest" laps contain barrier hitting, agreed it is cheating however it does require some luck to actually do it. You can try 10 times on 10 quick laps and ruin it by hitting the barrier to hard or at the wrong angle etc. The barrier he hit isn't a nice one either because of it's angle and curve. Hence why i believe he was lucky to have pulled that off.
Guess all i can do is try and beat him with a legit lap!

You will most definately be the bigger man if you do

I haven't attempted it yet and what with 360 playing time being at a premium I don't want to play anything other than GRAW

fair enough, i'll see how Graw affects my 360 time once it arrives, hopefully tomorrow. It has it's work cut out to pull me away from pgr3.

They haven't said what the fault was. They have replaced it with a brand new machine.

Can't wait to get home and get my pgr3 fix again!!

I don't know, but I doubt it, lol...

I have put no effort at all in this week, so I will have to wait for Monday to see how it went. I know for a fact I can go quicker but all there are terrorists to be shot now instead of cars to be raced

Well i put in some effort before i got GRAW. I will put in some more laps over the weekend and hopefully get a 50 second lap.
