Hello all, I am looking to change the exhaust on my T350c very soon and have been advised that TVR power is probably the best for the money. I can see two types on the website, Super sport Individual silencers and a TVR Large bore silencer. I just wanted to know which sounds better? I want my 350 to pop and bang and make more noise.

So which one?

Thanks

They both pop and bang! The seperate silencers are the loudest.

I fitted the Super Sports seperates about a year ago and have not been dissapointed.....the neighbours were less than impressed though

Plenty of noise and pops/bangs galore.

The only thing im worried about then is the look. Does any one have a picture of these on a T350? Im worried that the empty space behind the rear grill will look a little silly

I have to be honest and say, no, not acceptable on long journeys - the sound is 'cool' sometimes, well, most of the time, but the Super Sports exhaust can get too noisy, and occasionally, become a pain.
SP said that they can tune your car so that the rasp of the standard exhaust sounds almost Ferrari-like - I also heard a story that a guy who owned a T350 had a perforated eardrum because of the resonance of the SS exhaust. So, if you’re doing long trips in your TVR, think very carefully before opting for one.

OMG! Am I getting too old, and being a complete killjoy?!?!?!?!?

My Tamora goes on regular long journeys (4+ hours) and the TVR Power Super Sports Silencers don't bother me or the passenger a bit (with the hood up or down). No problems listening to the radio talking on the phone or to the passenger. And most importanlty - no headaches.

Everyone will be differnt and the fact that I have a Tamora and not a T350 may make a differnce, so the choice is yours. I recomend going for it...

I wonder if it would be possible to have a '7 day trial' of one, to see what you think? Would a dealer/indie be prepared to do that, I wonder?

just remember that the single pipes read 106 decibles static so track days could be a problem unless you fit extra pipes

I had a Supersports exhaust on my Tam, just fitted JP to the T350, it is quiet compared to Tam, but the look of the JP suits the T350 better, IMO. Don't know if its my particular car, but everything on the T350 seams quiet compared with the Tam. even the wife noticed how quiet and smooth it was on way home from picking it up, strange, i thought they were same car underneath?
