Just popped out for a quick drive to warm the car through and had a strange clunk happen in the footwell, after the moments panic and looking behind to see what might have fallen off I realised the travel of my brake pedal has reduced significantly. When back home I found it to be around 1.5cm or so of travel now compared to somewhat more beforehand.

Any ideas folks?

As Im off to North Weald tomorrow I need to get a solution or assurance that its not a major problem this morning, so I can get it sorted otherwise!

Thanks.

Can you only pust the throttle down by the same amount now? If so, your right foot has fallen off. Check in the drivers footwell for something that resembles a right foot.

Err, having a quick grope around now and right foot feels intact.
