I was rather hoping for some snow. I reckon that could be the most fun possible ....

Dusts off turbo'd car for the weekend.

Here here,Opps, F40 needs to be 'Le Mans' spec' to hit 200mph at Brunter's, still, we could always take the rear wing off.....

As daft as it may sound, it's unlikely the F40 will be playing with the big (600bhp+) boys. It might be interesting on the bottom bend though.

I would dearly love a passenger ride in an F40. They're just so, outrageous!

Was that car modified?

That's only 5mph shy of Ferrari's claimed top speed if standard.

I'd be expecting the standard F40 would get into the 180's maybe into the high 180's.

Actually the F40 ran a best of 191mph through the timing beams. Adam won with a 195mph in the Ruf CTR. My car was not there.

Thanks for the link. Was Albert's F40 standard? There's talk in the thread about a 540bhp F40 but not Alberts?

Well I live fairly close to Brunters and work even closer still and the weather has been pretty shite all week but there hasn't been loads of rain but V V V V V cold!!

I am looking forward to seeing the F40 in action and would like to have a drag race from a roling start of that bottom bend see how the 550 holds up!! Would imagine I will get smashed!!! But would love to have a go anyways...

Metcheck is now saying dry, cloudy and 5 degrees with a minor head/side wind. It hasn't let me down for previous vmax forecasts...
