Can imagine the reaction if I took the Saggy home looking like that and said :

'sorry dear I've had a bit of a ding in the car - but dont worry it's only slightly damaged'

Mind you I'm not sure I'd go home if it looked like that

Captain to passengers, "Just had a set-to with an iceberg; nothing to worry about. Only slight damage."

muhahahah!

Seriously though, why would someone sell it in that condition? I can only think it must either by an insurance write off or the owner was only insured third party (surely not!).

I wonder exactly what's bent. It looks like the body's just been peeled away as if it went under the corner of an artic trailer or something.

Looks like it'd been stacked into something solid and he's just pulled the fibre glass away. Hard to see if there's any internal damage. Even the panel on the opposite side is cracked. So all the front panels would need replacing!

I'd say its an insurance write-off and he's bought it back off them, and is now trying to make a few quid on it. Unless he stacked it on a track day, uninsured for track use?

The Reg is clearly displayed, easy to find out if it's a write-off.

Personally I wouldn't touch it. I'd hate to know what it'd cost to repair. Any guesses anyone?

Don't think you'd be paying more than 10k for repairs.

Sold for 18.5K...

Rather them than me. Not only is it going to cost a packet to make it look right again, it can't be easy to resell what must have been a cat C write-off in the future.
