Three problems, driving through lots of snow suggested an electrical reason, but which bit of electrics:

First the one you guys didn't help with: the oil pressure gauge has started reading 90+ at all times. The bible suggests that this is down to a bad connection at the sender. Mr (useless) RAC man said that the connection was tight, but I reckon it's probably a bit wet. I'll get it checked later. It's reading over 90 with the engine off and I don't get a facefull of oil when I open the filler cap, so it's not serious.

Second, the fans packed in. Temperature up to 120! I should have known this one as it happened not too long ago. (One of the threads I searched/found included me pointing this out ). I suppose that's why I didn't expect it - but just disconnecting and reconnecting the plugs. More cleaning to come.

Third, the driver's window stopped working - when down of course! Wet plug behind the speaker.

Thanks chaps.
