I understand these are on back order. Can you give me a contact name/number to order this. I take it from the video's that this can be fitted so as to be viewed through the steering wheel. Is it significantly better than the factory dials (costs?) or are they just cosmetic/in the driving line?

Thanks

Have a look at www.stackltd.com/
The model most talk about is the 8130P
Its main display is RPM with other data below.
You can configure what you want normally displayed then toggle to other displays plus you can set warning levels to alert you to problems.
The factory have developed a pod for it to mount in the dash.
The factory instruments are all analog displays.

Dash is a personel preference, I really like the look of the STACK 8130, it is also superior to the factory dials as they are more acurate and monitors more with warning levels that can be programed in.

You can also choose which two reading are on display, but MPH is always on display in the middle.

A lot of people have fabricated their own pinacle, its actually very easy.

I missed the cost bit.
The stack will be a good deal more expensive but I will go that way as I think it has so many advantages.
CJ has just fitted his so have a look at the pics on his site.

If you mail order direct from Australia then the Motec dash is about the same price, but does a whole lot more...

Here is another alternative that is ALOT cheaper.
Im looking to test one next month:

www.speedlog.co.uk/mychron3.asp
www.aimsports.com/pro_detail.php?pID=36

It is around £550 and includes virtually everything you would need.

There is no mention of an odometer so it wouldn't be road legal.

Oops missed that one. Oh well. Should be fine in the race car though.
