Any recommendations for track day tyres as I have a spare set of spyders. Currently using Good Year F1 for the road.

Toyo R888 or Yokohama A048 ...for pure track use you cant get better (other than slicks) ...however if you are on std suspension then probably better off sticking with the Goodyears...the grip available from 'proper' track day tyres will have you on the bump stops of the stock suspension

How long do these tyres last before overheating on a track?

I ask because I run my Sagaris on Dunlop SSR and F1s. I have a track day planned in May. Was in two minds which rubber to use, them of F1s.

if you adjust your pressures right then you can get a whole 20min session no probs before they start to go off .....obviously depends somewhat on driving style i.e. if you are lighting the tyres up out of every bend and drifting around the the tight corners then they could go off quicker!.

I run A48s on track on my Elise in MH compound...go out and do a couple of laps on factory pressures to get them warm, then come back in and drop the pressure back to factory (its gone up by say 5psi now) then thats fine for the rest of the day

The Sagaris suspension should cope OK as the spring rates are a lot stiffer (I cant wait to try it out once shes run in )...worth a try...these tyres really do give you so much lateral grip that in fast corners on a car with road biased suspension you can end up on the bump stops...I run double the spring rates of a stock Elise + Nitrons

R888s are slightly better in the wet and last a bit longer than A48s....with track use and mixed road dont expect much more than 3K miles out of a set of rears, 5-6K out of the fronts...obviously depending on ratio of track to road

Not been on for a few days so thanks to you all for response. Was thinking of something a bit more extreme than F1s, but if the suspension is to bottom out then not much point having the spare spyders. Could get the suspension sorted as well though. Problem is I cannot bring myself to turning what is an excellent fast road car circa £38,000 into a track tool. Would have bought a track car if that was the aim. Thoughts please boys and girls?
